Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Enquiries you send. When you use our contact or booking form we collect your name, an email address and/or a phone number, and the message you write. That is all we ask for — either an email or a phone number is enough so we can reply.

Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit which pages and how the site performs. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not track you across other websites.

Studio accounts. A small number of studio staff sign in to a private area to read enquiries; those accounts hold a work email and authentication data. This does not apply to visitors.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not collect payment details on this site.

2. How and why we use it

• To read and reply to your enquiry, and to follow up about the work you asked about.
• To understand aggregate site usage and performance so we can improve the site.
• To keep the private admin area secure for the studio.

We do not sell or rent your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not send you marketing you did not ask for.

3. Cookies and tracking

The site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and Cloudflare Web Analytics runs without cookies. Signing in to the private admin area uses strictly-necessary cookies to keep that session secure. Because there are no non-essential tracking cookies, the site does not show a cookie-consent banner.

4. Service providers who process data for us

The system is deliberately small. The providers that process personal data on our behalf are:

• Supabase — the database and authentication service where enquiries and studio accounts are stored (hosted in the Asia-Pacific / Tokyo region).
• Cloudflare — provides the privacy-first, cookieless web analytics described above.
• Hostinger — hosts the website and serves it to your browser.

Each processes data only to provide its service to us. We do not share your information with anyone else except where the law requires it.

5. How we protect it

Enquiries go straight into our own database — there is no third-party form service in the path. Access is restricted to signed-in studio staff through database row-level security, data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, the form is rate-limited to resist abuse, and the site is built so that secrets never reach your browser.

6. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry and contact data for 24 months after our last meaningful interaction with you, unless a longer period is required for an ongoing engagement, a legal obligation, a dispute, or a similar legitimate need. After that, expired enquiry data and the internal notes associated with it are deleted or anonymized, in line with what our systems support.

7. Your choices and requests

You can ask what enquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at contact.codesetu@gmail.com, or use our contact form, and we will respond as promptly as we can.

8. Children

The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect the personal information of children.

9. Where your data is handled

Enquiries are stored with Supabase in the Asia-Pacific (Tokyo) region. If you contact us from another country, your information is processed there.

10. Applicable law

This policy describes Codesetu’s current privacy and data-handling practices. We aim to handle personal data responsibly and in line with the data-protection laws that apply to us, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). Some obligations under that Act take effect through rules and timelines that are still being implemented; as those come into force we will update our practices and this policy. Nothing here should be read as a claim that every future obligation is already fully in effect.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the studio and the site evolve. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
